Job Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years aquatic management experiences
- Be able to work on weekend
- Lifeguard, CPR & First Aid certifications
- Pass criminal background check
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Hands-on management Skills
- Passion for swim instructing or coaching
- Aquatic programming experiences
- Aquatic staff recruiting and team building experiences with great people skills
- Pool facility operation experiences or CPO/AFO certification
- ARC lifeguard instructor certification
- Strong responsibility sense, communication skills and problem-solving capability
Responsibilities and Duties:

- Ensure the quality of our aquatic programs and services in a safe environment.
- Daily pool chemical test and walk-through to ensure a clean, organized, safe, and well maintained facility. Maximize the facility uptime in good condition minimizing operation costs
- Assist to create, develop and/or improve our aquatic programs to fully utilize the facility
- Create and update the periodic working schedules for instructors and aquatic staff
- Serves as the manager on duty including evenings and weekends
- Ensure departments operate within established guidelines and budgets
- Be able to hands-on and act as deck supervisor or substitute swim instructor
- Prevent, recognize and handle emergency situations timely and professionally
- Assist to recruit, hire, train and manage aquatic staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction and good customer relations
- Grow business, enhance efficiency, solve problems and cut costs
- Assist in all aspects of the aquatic operations including customer service, team building, marketing, purchasing, program development, implementation and evaluation. Perform all necessary tasks as assigned by upper management
- Active participation in meetings and trainings, communicate timely and follow-up as appropriate
- Maintain current Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR/AED certification
- Assist in processing all payroll-related functions accurately and timely
- Prepares periodic reports and provides timely and accurate information
- Fill out and submit any necessary paperwork as required
